Dr. Kate Wolford (Wawrzynkiewicz)

Dr. Kate grew up in McCook where she was active in school, church, and 4H. Following high school graduation she went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln when she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science. She was accepted to UNMC College of Dentistry and spent another four years in Lincoln earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Go Huskers!

While in college she met her husband, Jake Wawrzynkiewicz, and they were married the summer before she started dental school. After moving to North Platte, they got a Golden Retriever named Murphy and welcomed their son Noah. Jake works for Great Plains Health as the Accounting Manager and spends as much time outdoors as possible.

Dr. Kate started her dental career in North Platte at West Central District Health Department and eventually made the decision she wanted to move into private practice. After purchasing the practice from Dr. Mike Furmanski, she started Good Life Dental, PC on July 1, 2015. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients and working to help them create their ideal smile. She also loves showing kids that a trip to the dentist can be a fun experience.

Kate has carried her love of horses into her office with her western decor, and loves to spend her downtime reading, shopping with her Mom and family, and trying to keep up with her toddler son.

Trudi Coe, Hygienist

Trudi is a 1999 dental hygiene graduate of Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming and grew up in Laramie, Wyoming.

She started working for Dr. Mike Furmanski in 2001 and has continued her hygiene career with Dr. Kate. She has been blessed to have met very nice patients over the years and always looks forward to seeing them return for their recall appointments. Her greatest satisfaction in dentistry is when she gets to reconnect and help patients maintain their oral health care.

She and her husband Bob moved to North Platte in November 1999 when Bob was hired on with UPRR where he works as a car foreman. They have two children, Jordan and William. Jordan is very academically gifted and is attending college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; William has made Trudi a true baseball mom with lots of traveling and tournaments where she has learned to love the game.

When she feels that she needs a break from the everyday hustle and bustle, Trudi meets her sister Ann for a sister weekend at the family ranch in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. It’s an amazing piece of heaven and the best part of all is the phone service isn’t the best!
